Golden Hour Gear Repair is a specialty outdoor gear repair and customization service based on Mount Desert Island, Maine — home to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

We repair and customize textile-based outdoor gear, like jackets, tents, and backpacks. We accept local repairs through our drop boxes, and can also accept mail-in repairs.

On a short trip to Acadia? We can mail your repaired item home!

Golden Hour Gear Repair got its start after owner Isabella Connelly won the final round of the Big Gig pitch competition in April 2025.
